Blinding Snowfall Sweeps Norman Before Dawn

Norman, OK – December 4, 2025 – Heavy, wet snow swept across Norman early Thursday morning, creating a brief but intense overnight scene.

Video recorded by X user Amelia Urquhart at 3:30 a.m. in an apartment complex parking lot shows large snowflakes falling steadily beneath the streetlights, reducing visibility and lightly dusting parked vehicles.

Despite the strong snowfall, the warm ground prevented any meaningful accumulation on roads or grass. By morning, central Oklahoma saw only trace amounts to 0.7 inches, falling well short of earlier forecasts.

Roads remained wet but clear, and no significant impacts were reported from the early-morning snow.
