Greece – Earlier this week, the Israeli Air Force and the Hellenic Air Force carried out a joint exercise over Greek airspace.
During the operation, both air forces practiced aerial refueling of dozens of Greek fighter jets. The drill was part of their annual training program and reflects ongoing regional cooperation between the two countries.
The Israeli Air Force regularly conducts aerial refueling exercises with Greece several times a year. This exercise simulated operational flights and long-distance refueling of fighter jets.
For several hours, the fighter jets joined refueling aircraft and were replenished mid-air, allowing them to continue their missions.
