Hillsborough County, Florida – In the early hours of November 2, 2025, deputies responded to reports of a street takeover involving more than two dozen vehicles near S. Gornto Lake Road and Bloomingdale Avenue.

Aviation Unit officers spotted a white Dodge Challenger performing dangerous burnouts in the parking lot. From above, pilots guided ground deputies to intercept the vehicle.

The driver, 20-year-old Miguel Medeiro Rocha, was quickly stopped and taken into custody. He now faces charges of Unlawful Racing on Highway, Reckless Driving, and Felony Fleeing to Elude.

Authorities emphasized the swift coordination between air and ground units in bringing the fast-moving situation under control.
