Brandon, Florida – On October 29, 2025, detectives from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reunited King, a French Bulldog puppy, with his owner following an armed burglary at a local cell phone store.

At 12:27 a.m., the store owner confronted three masked suspects who had fled with the puppy. Investigators quickly launched an investigation and identified four suspects connected to the theft.

Serving a search warrant at an apartment in the Westbury at Lake Brandon complex, detectives discovered King safely hidden inside a drawer. The puppy was returned unharmed to its grateful owner.

Authorities arrested Jeremiah Little, 17; Dwayne Shirley, 15; Tony Marshall, 19; and Deshaun Jenkins, 18, in connection with the burglary.
