Mesquite, Texas – In the early hours of September 30, 2025, a Mesquite Police officer witnessed a single-vehicle crash on the highway after the driver collided with a concrete barrier. The vehicle quickly erupted in flames.

Without hesitation, the officer rushed to the burning car and pulled the woman to safety, preventing what could have been a fatal outcome.
