Guatemala City, Guatemala – The Humanitarian and Rescue Brigade of the Guatemalan Army is conducting search and rescue operations after a landslide at Km 24.5 on the road to El Salvador left a man buried.

The operation focuses on locating and rescuing the male victim, who may be trapped under debris from the landslide.

The Guatemalan Army emphasized its commitment to public service, stating, “Al servicio de la población guatemalteca. ¡El pueblo digno es primero!”

Rescue teams continue working tirelessly to reach the affected individual and ensure his safety.
