Foxborough Officer Honored For Daring Rescue From Burning Car

Foxborough, Massachusetts – Patrolman Brendan Fayles of the Foxborough Police Department has been awarded the Life Saving Award for his heroic actions on July 25, 2025.

Fayles responded to a motor vehicle accident on South Street, where a car had crashed into a residence and caught fire. Upon arriving at the scene, he saw the vehicle beginning to ignite and immediately recognized the danger to the occupant inside.

Without hesitation, Fayles smashed the passenger-side window and pulled the injured person to safety, moments before the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. His quick thinking and bravery directly saved the life of the accident victim.

The department praised Fayles’ actions as reflecting the highest standards of courage and dedication. His decisive intervention highlights the selfless service and commitment to duty that the Foxborough Police Department values.
