Senior Pup Saved From Sticky Mud Pit Adventure

St. George, Utah – Emergency responders rushed to help a senior dog that became trapped in a deep, sticky mud pit.

According to the St. George Police Department, animal service officers were called to the scene after the dog got stuck in what they described as “a sticky situation.”

A video shared by the department shows rescuers creating a makeshift bridge with a stretcher, allowing them to reach the stranded dog. The team then lifted the muddy pup to safety and carried him back to solid ground.

“Even our seasoned furry friends have adventurous days. This time, he decided to explore, giving our first responders quite an adventure in the process,” the department wrote.

Officials confirmed the dog and the rescuers “emerged a little dirty but perfectly OK.”
