Sargent, Texas – On September 13, 2025, a Coast Guard Air Station Houston air crew observed their rescue swimmer assist three boaters from a capsized vessel.

The rescue took place offshore near Sargent, Texas, where the crew transferred the boaters onto a Coast Guard small boat.

After the successful extraction, the three individuals were safely escorted to Bridge Bait Marina in Freeport, Texas.

The operation highlights the Coast Guard’s readiness and effectiveness in responding to maritime emergencies along the Texas coast.
