Utah County, USA – A dramatic video shows Utah County Sheriff’s Deputies responding to an apartment fire on August 26, 2025, in which residents were forced to flee their homes.
Five deputies and one sergeant arrived to find the building actively burning. They immediately entered the apartment complex to search for people trapped inside. Several apartments were cleared with the deputies’ help, but Apartment 11 was engulfed in smoke and flames, preventing direct access.
Recognizing the danger, Sgt. Friedrichson contacted dispatch to alert the Unified Fire Authority firefighters for assistance. One male resident was rescued from Apartment 11 and transported to a nearby hospital.
All deputies were evaluated at the scene for smoke inhalation and were reported to be doing well.
The Utah County Sheriff’s Office praised the deputies, stating, “We are extremely proud of all of our Deputies that ran into harm’s way to help evacuate the area and of all of the First Responder efforts in responding to the fire.”
