Apalit, Philippines – On July 23, 2025, 40 residents were rescued from rising floodwaters in Apalit, Pampanga.

Video footage shows Philippine Coast Guard teams placing families into boats and pushing inflatable rafts through flooded roads.

Coast Guard members navigated the chest-deep waters alongside the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

They transported the rescued individuals and pets to safer locations.

All evacuees were brought to the nearest evacuation center to receive government assistance.
