Rome, Italy – An explosion rocked a fuel station on Via dei Gordiani in the Casilino district of Rome around 8 a.m., injuring a firefighter responding to the scene.

Ten emergency teams were dispatched to battle the blaze, which spread to a judicial storage depot located behind the gas station.

Several individuals were reportedly injured, and rescue efforts are ongoing.

The operation remains active as firefighters work to contain the flames and secure the area.
