High Point, North Carolina – On July 1st, X user Kathy Woodin captured a dramatic storm and lightning over High Point.

She stepped out onto her front porch to record the lightning but quickly went back inside, saying the strike was “a little too close for comfort.”

Afterward, she felt her feet burning and tingling.

“I sat down and my feet were hot and tingling,” she said. “And yeah I’m pretty sure I might have caught a charge off that as my feet were burning, tingling and went numb for several hours afterwards.”
