Youngstown, Ohio – Body camera footage released by the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office shows deputies removing a woman from President Donald Trump’s rally in Youngstown after she was attacked by rallygoers.
Footage from two deputies’ body cameras at the Covelli Centre on October 12 shows a deputy rushing down the stairs into the stands and pulling the woman, wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt, up off the ground as the crowd yells and jeers. “Let me leave! I will walk,” she shouts as deputies take her by the arms and lead her up the steps.
Deputies then walk her through the arena’s concourse, stopping so one of them can photograph her face “for our records,” before escorting her out the front doors and leaving her outside with a “Have a good day.”
The footage does not show the attack itself, in which the woman was pushed down, punched in the face, pulled by the hair and put in a headlock. Trump paused his speech as it unfolded.
Sheriff Jerry Greene said no one was arrested at the time because deputies did not see the beating and the woman did not file a report. The incident is under investigation and assault charges are possible. Youngstown Mayor Derrick McDowell condemned the attack, saying “senseless (political) violence has absolutely NO place in our community.”
