Starbase, Texas – A massive SpaceX Starship rocket erupts from the launch pad in a spectacular burst of fire and smoke during its historic liftoff from Texas.

Four official clips capture different angles of the September 28 launch, with the towering rocket blasting past the launch tower and disappearing into a massive cloud of exhaust.

The Super Heavy booster and Starship lifted off from Orbital Launch Pad 2 at 7:48:59 a.m. CDT, beginning Flight 14 and Starship’s first true orbital mission.

The vehicle later reached orbit and deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites before the mission ended after roughly three hours with a splashdown in the northern Pacific.

The footage captures only the spectacular liftoff, with the rocket climbing through the flames and smoke before disappearing into the clouds.
