Oahu and Kauai, Hawaii – Hurricane Lowell left roads across Hawaii covered in fallen trees, mud, floodwater and storm debris, as crews worked to clear the damage.

The video shows heavy equipment moving along wet roads littered with green branches and large tree trunks. A massive pile of broken logs and debris can also be seen beside standing water, with more debris stretching along a flooded channel.

On Farrington Highway, sand, mud and water cover the roadway, with tire tracks cutting through the surface as workers and vehicles operate nearby. The storm surge pushed material onto sections of the highway, creating difficult conditions for crews.

Nighttime footage shows wet, flooded roads illuminated by emergency and work vehicles as crews continue responding to the aftermath. Other sections remain covered with debris and water.

More than 1,000 tons of material were removed from Farrington Highway, while additional cleanup work continued. Some sections were reopened with one-lane restrictions as crews worked to clear the remaining debris.
