Spain – A total solar eclipse will be visible on Wednesday, Aug. 12, in parts of Greenland, Iceland, Spain and the Atlantic Ocean, while a partial eclipse will be visible across most of Europe and parts of North America.

Totality will begin in Iceland at 1:45 p.m. EDT (1745 UTC), followed by Spain at 2:28 p.m. EDT (1828 UTC).

Live views from cameras positioned along the eclipse path will be available, along with information about the science of eclipses and how they are being studied.
