Itaquaquecetuba, São Paulo, Brazil – A dramatic video filmed by x user usilva shows a major nighttime fire at a chemical and solvent factory in the Rio Abaixo neighborhood on Estrada do Bonsucesso.
The footage captures an enormous fireball and thick orange-red smoke billowing high into the dark sky. The camera records the scene from a parking lot, where several vehicles, including a white hatchback and black cars, can be seen in the foreground. A brick wall, trees, and streetlights are also visible as the powerful flames repeatedly surge and spread, bathing the surrounding area in an intense orange glow.
The fire broke out during the afternoon of August 4, 2026, involving multiple large tanks containing flammable products.
Firefighters remained at the scene throughout the night and into August 5 as they continued efforts to bring the massive blaze under control.
