Ceuta, Spain – Video filmed by HazteOir.org shows a nighttime beach scene with two reporters standing on the sand while holding microphones. A man in a black shirt holds a microphone with a blue light, while a woman in a white top holds a microphone with a green light.

Behind them, a fence, rocky embankment, thatched beach umbrellas, and groups of people moving along the rocks and fence line are visible. Some individuals appear shirtless, while trash and debris are scattered across the sand. Lights can be seen across the water, and a small guard post structure appears later in the footage.

The reporters state they are in Ceuta and describe the scene as an invasion and a war. They claim nearly 150 people are arriving every hour, with the Guardia Civil and army present under instructions to do nothing. They call for action to prevent the situation from happening again, tell people to leave, accuse arrivals of coming to humiliate Spain, and declare that the national restart begins in Ceuta.

The footage was recorded on the night of July 30, 2026, when tens of thousands of people, mostly Moroccan nationals, crossed into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta from Morocco, primarily by swimming around the Tarajal breakwater and crossing on foot.

Official estimates ranged from around 49,000 to 60,000 entries in under 24 hours. Spanish authorities deployed additional Guardia Civil, police, and army units. Large numbers later returned voluntarily to Morocco.

At least several dozen people died during the crossings, with recovery operations ongoing.
