Sotillo de la Adrada, Ávila, Spain – Intense orange flames lit up the night as emergency crews battled a major wildfire complex in the area.

Footage shows UME personnel and fire trucks with blue emergency lights working along a road as the blaze burns through the surrounding trees.

Firefighters move through thick smoke and intense heat while holding hoses and fighting the advancing flames.

The wildfire complex originated near Burgohondo in late July 2026 and threatened multiple towns in the Sierra de Gredos area.

The danger led to widespread evacuations and confinement measures as part of a national emergency response.
