Clot metro station, Barcelona, Spain – Firefighters in full protective gear and breathing apparatus gathered outside the station after a fire broke out in the catenary of Line L1 between Glòries and Clot stations on July 27, 2026.

The footage shows emergency vehicles and yellow barrier tape surrounding the station entrance. Escalators and the entrance are visible behind “No pasar” tape as people gather on the street and a police vehicle arrives with its lights on.

The fire filled the area with smoke and forced evacuations. More than 130 people were treated for smoke inhalation, although none were in serious condition.

Service on parts of Line L1 was interrupted.
