Klamath Falls, Oregon – U.S. Air Force Reserve C-130 aircraft equipped with the Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System provided aerial retardant support for West Coast wildfire suppression efforts in mid-July 2026.
The footage shows two 302nd Airlift Wing MAFFS-equipped C-130H Hercules aircraft flying over wildfire areas in Oregon and carrying out aerial firefighting operations.
The video captures two retardant drops, with the second drop beginning at 7:35.
The aircraft, using the call signs MAFFS 2 and MAFFS 5, are positioned at Klamath Falls, Oregon, to support wildfire suppression efforts on the West Coast.
