Sanger, California – Fresno County Fire’s Swiftwater Rescue Team assisted the Sanger Fire Department with a water rescue in a canal near the intersection of Academy Avenue and California Avenue.

The rescue operation unfolded in Fresno County as crews responded to a vehicle in the canal.

Video shows the vehicle teetering in the canal while a crew member worked to remove the driver from the swift-moving waters.

The Swiftwater Rescue Team quickly made its way to the vehicle, which was submerged in the canal, as rescuers worked to complete the water rescue.
