Zaragoza, Spain – A Spanish Army emergency helicopter is supporting operations against the Orés wildfire, with aerial footage showing the scale of the blaze spreading across hills, fields, and wooded areas.

Video from the helicopter captures thick smoke rising above the landscape as flames burn through green and blackened terrain. Wide aerial views reveal fire activity across agricultural areas and forested sections, with large smoke columns visible under a hazy sky.

The Emergency Helicopter Battalion II of the Spanish Army’s Air Mobile Forces has deployed resources to strengthen firefighting efforts in Zaragoza. The unit provides support and assistance during emergencies and works with the Military Emergency Unit on rescue, assistance, and fire suppression operations.

Part of the battalion’s resources have joined the response to the Orés forest fire, which began around July 15 in the Cinco Villas region. Multiple ground and aerial teams continue working to contain the wildfire.
