Majdal Zoun, Lebanon – Footage shows underground tunnel routes in the Majdal Zoun area of southern Lebanon after two routes with a combined length of about 200 meters were dismantled.

Inside the tunnels, troops discovered living quarters, three launch shafts directed toward Israel, and dozens of weapons.

The tunnel footage shows narrow concrete corridors with exposed wiring, pipes and rough rock walls. The underground spaces included living areas with a floral-patterned couch, chairs, a standing fan, water bottles and a sink area.

A narrow shaft or vertical passage was also shown, along with stored items and other structural details of the tunnel system.

Additional footage shows explosions and the destruction of underground infrastructure in the Majdal Zoun area, with thick smoke and dust rising above rural terrain containing buildings, fields and roads.

The operation resulted in the destruction of two additional underground tunnel routes and the discovery of weapons caches containing mortars, launchers and RPG rockets.
