Acceglio (CN) – Firefighters’ aerial rescue crews reached and brought to safety a hiker who got into difficulty at an altitude of 2,000 meters after losing orientation in a rugged area near Acceglio.

The rescue team reached the stranded hiker aboard the Drago 153 helicopter and safely transported the individual from the mountainous location.

The operation took place at an elevation of 2,000 meters in the Cuneo area.
