Santa Ana, California – Video filmed by Orange County Fire Authority shows firefighters responding to a fast-moving fire involving two cypress trees burning directly beside an apartment building.

The trees were completely engulfed in flames and were just seconds away from extending the fire into the apartment complex.

Firefighters quickly deployed hoses and knocked down the flames, stopping the fire before it could spread to the structure.

The footage shows thick smoke and active fire suppression efforts as crews work to protect the building and the homes of those inside.

Quick action by firefighters prevented a potentially devastating blaze and successfully safeguarded the apartment complex from the spreading flames.
