Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Hawaii, United States – A timelapse video captured episode 50 of lava fountaining in Halemaumau at the summit of Kilauea.

The lava fountaining episode lasted for about seven hours on June 27, 2026.

The timelapse was recorded by the V3cam, which is positioned on the southern rim of the crater in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
