Air Quality Alert Issued As Massive Colorado Wildfire Sends Smoke Over Pueblo

Pueblo, Colorado, USA – Pueblo County issued an air quality alert after thick smoke and ash from the 23,000-acre Aspen Acres Fire drifted into the region, significantly reducing air quality.

Officials reported that wildfire smoke is affecting Pueblo’s skyline as conditions continue to deteriorate due to the spreading fire.

Residents are being urged to stay indoors as much as possible, avoid outdoor activity and exercise, and keep windows and doors closed.

Authorities also advised that children, older adults, and people with respiratory conditions should limit exposure to smoke.
