Taal Volcano, Batangas, Philippines – A minor phreatomagmatic eruption occurred at Taal Volcano’s Main Crater at 2:34 PM on June 30, 2026, lasting around four and a half minutes.
The eruption consisted of three distinct pulses that released dark gray ash and steam-rich plumes.
These plumes rose up to 1,200 meters above the crater before drifting toward the southwest.
Alert Level 1 remains in place over Taal Volcano.
