Atlantic Ocean – Twenty-six ships from 13 partner and allied nations sailed in formation with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during Fleet Exercise (FLEETEX) 250 in the Atlantic Ocean on June 25, 2026.

USS Nimitz is participating in FLEETEX 250, a series of structured multinational training events conducted at sea.

The exercise is designed to build cohesion among participating forces, validate tactical procedures, and strengthen interoperability between the involved units.

Warships, aircraft, and crews from the United States and 13 partner and allied nations are taking part in the exercise.

The participating vessels operated together in formation as part of the large-scale training activities being conducted in the Atlantic Ocean.
