Hotan, Xinjiang, China – Heavy rainfall suddenly struck Hotan, causing the water level of the Yulong Kash River to rise rapidly.

A man became trapped in the middle of the river after driving an excavator through the water while attempting to cross.

The powerful current rushed through the river channel, creating a dangerous situation as the man remained stranded with no way out.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and threw a rescue rope to the trapped man while also delivering protective equipment.

After remotely guiding him in putting on the equipment, rescuers used the force of the current to bring him safely to shore.
