Fulshear, Texas — Body camera footage shows an unusual foot chase along an unfinished section of the Westpark Tollway after a group of baby ducks was discovered moving through the area.

Lieutenant Henry of the Fulshear Police Department responded after reports of the ducklings wandering on the construction site and moved on foot to guide them away from the roadway.

Officers followed the ducklings through the unfinished tollway section and worked to safely bring all ten of them under control without any injuries or further incident.

The operation required coordinated action in a challenging construction environment as responders carefully managed the movement of the animals.

The June 2026 incident highlighted a quick response to an unexpected situation involving wildlife in a suburban infrastructure area.

All ducklings were safely secured, and no injuries were reported.
