Guadalajara, Mexico – Video filmed by X user Soyel_isra🇲🇽 shows a large gathering of supporters of the Mexican national team filling a modern urban plaza and nearby hotel area in the Midtown district, forming a dense sea of green jerseys and waving flags.
Fans chant and sing loudly in support of “El Tri,” while many raise their arms and record the scene on their mobile phones as the crowd surges with movement and energy.
A large Mexican flag is lifted above the packed supporters as green smoke spreads through the air, intensifying the atmosphere across the open space. People can also be seen on upper balconies and walkways of surrounding buildings, watching and participating in the celebration below.
The crowd remains focused around the area in front of the team hotel, where the gathering continues with constant motion, chanting, and flag-waving.
The event marks the beginning of fan gatherings in Guadalajara ahead of Mexico’s Group A match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup against South Korea on June 18 at Estadio Guadalajara.
Known as the “Perla Tapatía,” the city has embraced the tournament with strong displays of national pride as supporters rally behind the team before its opening match on home soil.
