Huelva, Spain – A large industrial fire sent a huge column of thick smoke into the sky over Huelva on Monday, causing shock and concern among residents as the plume became visible across parts of the city and nearby areas.
Video recorded by X user Alberto shows a dense cloud of brownish-gray smoke rising from an industrial area and spreading widely across the horizon. The footage was filmed from an elevated vantage point overlooking industrial buildings with red and white roofs, large yellow cranes, including one marked “EASA,” trees, and urban structures.
The smoke appears to be coming from a major source within the industrial or port zone. The plume rises high into the sky and drifts with the wind while dominating the skyline.
Reacting to the scene, the person filming can be heard saying in Spanish, “But what????!!!!”
The footage highlights the scale of the incident, with heavy smoke covering portions of the sky above the industrial infrastructure visible in the foreground.

No injuries or evacuations have been confirmed in the initial reports. Emergency services are responding to the fire, which has attracted widespread local attention due to the visible size of the smoke plume.
