San Vicente del Raspeig, Spain – A man has been arrested following two violent robberies in local shops on May 28, 2026, after a rapid investigation by the Guardia Civil.
The suspect is accused of carrying out two knife-point robberies at local businesses, during which he threatened staff with a large knife.
In one robbery, a female employee fought back using a chair, pushing the attacker away and disrupting the attempt. Around €1,200 was taken during the incident.
Following the attacks, investigators used CCTV analysis and other evidence to identify the suspect.
He was later located and arrested by Guardia Civil officers.
Authorities confirmed he has been remanded in prison as the case continues.
