Helicopter View Captures Massive Wildfire Spreading Across Marismillas In Almonte

Almonte, Spain – A wildfire in the Marismillas area of Almonte, Huelva (Andalusia), was shown from the air on May 24, 2026, as a large-scale firefighting operation unfolded across the affected zone.

Video filmed by the Andalusian Emergency Agency shows aerial views of thick smoke rising from the Marismillas area shortly after the fire was declared at 18:05 h.

At that stage, initial aerial response units were already in action, including one heavy helicopter, one semi-heavy helicopter, and one ground-loading aircraft working on the developing blaze.

A second clip recorded at 19:05 h shows a wider helicopter perspective as the operation expanded significantly within an hour.

The aerial response increased to a larger fleet operating over the fire zone, including three heavy helicopters, two semi-heavy helicopters, one light helicopter, two ground-loading planes, and one coordination aircraft, all actively dropping water and fire retardant.

On the ground, multiple teams were deployed beneath the aircraft, including fire crews, BRICA units, TOP teams, and AAMM units working in coordination to contain the fire.

The footage highlights the rapid escalation of the wildfire and the scale of the coordinated aerial response in the Doñana National Park area.
