Animal Cruelty Raid Reveals Horrific Conditions In Zaragoza Property

Épila, Spain – Guardia Civil officers have carried out a raid on a property in Épila, Zaragoza, as part of an animal cruelty investigation, uncovering severe neglect conditions affecting a large number of animals.

The 81-second official footage shows officers entering a building described as extremely dirty and cluttered. Inside, they move through rooms filled with piles of wire cages stacked on top of each other, all surrounded by heavy filth and debris.

Many of the cages were found to contain geese and ducks, with some animals already dead and others alive but in severely poor conditions. Officers carefully inspected the cages while documenting and removing them from the property.

The video also shows dozens of animals packed into overcrowded cages covered in waste and dirt, highlighting the scale of the unsanitary environment uncovered during the operation.

Outside the building, Guardia Civil vehicles are seen stationed at the property as officers load seized cages onto a truck for removal.

In the final moments of the footage, the cages are transported away to municipal facilities, where surviving animals are expected to receive care and treatment.

According to the investigation details, one individual is under inquiry for alleged animal abuse after authorities found numerous animals living in extreme unsanitary conditions, with many already dead at the scene.

Surviving animals were removed from the property and transferred to municipal facilities to receive proper care.
