Empty Waymo Cars Circle Dead End Street In Atlanta For Hours

Atlanta, United States – A series of empty autonomous vehicles were seen repeatedly looping through a commercial dead-end street and nearby parking lot in Atlanta during a nighttime incident captured on video.

The footage shows multiple white Waymo self-driving cars, each fitted with roof-mounted sensor pods, moving in slow, repeated circles around the area.

The vehicles pass an industrial-style building with illuminated garage doors and windows, while their headlights cut through the darkness as they continue their looping movements.

An orange traffic cone is visible on a patch of grass in the foreground as the autonomous cars continue their repeated turns.

A silver SUV also moves through the area while the self-driving fleet continues circling the dead-end street.

The video was posted with the caption: β€œIt’s a fuckin infestation. They take over my shops culdesac every morning.”

The incident reflects frustration from local residents, who reported that numerous empty autonomous vehicles have been gathering and looping in the Atlanta neighbourhood for extended periods, causing ongoing annoyance.
