Falcon, Colorado, USA – A black bear was found sleeping inside a basement window well at a residential home, leading to a careful wildlife response to safely remove and relocate the animal.

Video shows the bear curled up peacefully in the window well, with close-up views through a glass window revealing its head, snout, and paws as it rested against the structure.

The footage then shifts inside the home, where wildlife officers are seen working after the bear had been sedated and removed from the window well.

The animal was placed on a large gray tarp on a wooden floor, where three officers knelt around it and used yellow straps to secure it for transport.

The coordinated effort focused on safely preparing the bear for relocation without causing harm.

In later scenes, officers and a civilian wearing a blue hoodie are shown carrying the sedated bear, still on the tarp, through the front door of the home and onto the porch.

The group then moved the animal toward a waiting vehicle for transport.

Officials confirmed the bear had wandered into the window well and fallen asleep before being safely handled and relocated.

The operation was completed without reported injury, and the bear was moved to suitable wild habitat.
