Kabardino-Balkaria, Russia – A World War II-era aerial bomb was discovered in a forest near the village of Oktyabrskoye in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

The 100-kilogram explosive was safely destroyed by a pyrotechnic team from the Don Rescue Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The bomb was neutralized using an overhead charge. The entire operation followed strict safety protocols and was completed without incident.
