Córdoba, Spain – A woman was rescued after an accident while practicing speleology in the Sima de las Telillas cave in the Priego de Córdoba municipal area.

The operation involved the Córdoba Civil Guard, the GREIM Mountain Group, and a helicopter from Granada’s Air Service.

Firefighters from the Córdoba Provincial Consortium, health workers from Priego’s Health Center, and other volunteers also joined the effort.

The collaborative rescue successfully brought the woman to safety after she suffered the accident underground.
