Sesto Fiorentino, Italy – A search operation ended late Monday morning, April 7, 2025, when firefighters from the Florence command located a woman missing during a hike in Sesto Fiorentino.

The search began immediately after she was reported missing, with ground teams and specialized units dispatched to the area. These included the SAPR Nucleo (drone team), canine units, and topography experts who led the coordination.

After a night of intense efforts, the woman was found this morning in a wooded area. She was in good health and was handed over to medical personnel for care.
