Nola, Italy – On Wednesday, May 28, a massive fire broke out in the warehouse area of the interporto zone in Nola, located in the province of Naples.
Six teams of firefighters were sent to the scene, including two backup units from the nearby Caserta command.
The blaze engulfed multiple warehouse structures in the interporto area, with thick smoke visible from a distance.
A specialized airport fire truck was also deployed, capable of releasing large volumes of water and firefighting foam to suppress the flames.
Crews worked through the evening to control the fire and prevent further spread.
