Houston, Texas – Chaos broke out on Friday, September 19, 2025, at a retail store on the 6500 block of Westheimer when a male suspect attempted to steal multiple jerseys.

The suspect grabbed several jerseys from a clothing rack while a loss prevention employee confronted him. A physical struggle ensued as the employee tried to stop the theft.

The suspect then forced his way through the store’s exit, dropping some of the stolen merchandise, and fled on foot.

Authorities describe the suspect as a White or Hispanic male with long hair, wearing glasses, a blue shirt, and blue shorts.

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is investigating the incident and seeking information from anyone who witnessed the violent theft.
