Vacaville, California – CAL FIRE and several local agencies are responding to a vegetation fire off Cherry Glen Extension Road on the north side of Interstate 80.

The fire is burning uphill through light, flashy fuels, covering approximately 20 to 25 acres.

It is spreading at a moderate rate, with crews working to contain it.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as firefighters battle the blaze.
