Middle East – U.S. Air Force aerial port Airmen from the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing and loadmaster Airmen from the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing offloaded U.S. Army Patriot missile system components from a C 17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft on November 5, 2025.

The operation took place in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, where the aircraft delivered the components for further deployment.

The Patriot is a mobile surface to air missile defense system with the capability to intercept aircraft, cruise missiles and tactical ballistic missiles.
