US Forces Resupply Syrian Bases and Support Fight Against ISIS

Northeast Syria – Truck drivers and US-led forces from the 10th Mountain Division, Task Force ELKHOUND, conducted convoy operations on April 9, 2025. These convoys delivered food, ammunition, and other supplies to remote outposts. The effort supports operational readiness and mission continuity.

The mission aims to advise, assist, and enable partner forces to defeat ISIS and stabilize the region.

On April 8, 2025, engineers from the 416th Theater Engineer Command used a heavy crane to place concrete T-walls. This strengthened base defenses and expanded infrastructure across the Combined Joint Operations Area.

On April 7, US-led personnel loaded parts for M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles into steel cargo containers. A steady supply of maintenance parts ensures the vehicles remain fully mission capable. The BFVs support both offense and defense, helping deter threats and back regional allies.

These ongoing efforts highlight the US-led commitment to security and stability in northeast Syria.
