Fort McCoy, Wisconsin – The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service stocked rainbow trout on April 23, 2025, at Suukjak Sep Lake on North Post at Fort McCoy.

Employees from the Genoa National Fish Hatchery in Genoa, Wisconsin, carried out the stocking operation.

Around 15,000 rainbow trout were released into various lakes and ponds at Fort McCoy.

The rainbow trout are a popular game fish for anglers who visit the area.

Many waterways at Fort McCoy benefit from this stocking effort, supporting local recreation and fishing.
