US And Polish Forces Deploy Robotic Boats To Protect Baltic Sea During Military Exercise

Utska, Poland – On June 6, 2025, U.S. Navy Sailors from Commander, Task Force 66 and Polish Servicemembers deployed robotic boats during the Baltic Operations 2025 exercise.

The boats, known as Global Autonomous Reconnaissance Crafts (GARC), were used to boost maritime surveillance and response abilities.

The deployment took place as part of BALTOPS 25, the leading maritime-focused military exercise in the Baltic Region.

This training aims to strengthen cooperation between allied forces and safeguard freedom of navigation in the Baltic Sea.
